Thank you for choosing Wedding Dress Cleaning Scotland for your wedding dress cleaning. We aim to provide an exceptional service while keeping the terms simple and transparent. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Before we begin the cleaning process, please note that our standard service time for wedding dress cleaning is 4-6 weeks. This may be extended depending on third-party delivery times. Prior to cleaning, your dress will undergo a thorough inspection, and if any issues or discrepancies are found, we will contact you to discuss them before proceeding. If any additional services or repairs are required, resulting in extra charges, we will notify you, and you must approve and pay for these charges in advance. This may extend the service time accordingly. If, for any reason, both parties agree that the dress should be returned without cleaning, you may be responsible for any courier charges incurred.

You must send your dress in a sealed, dry, and labelled cardboard box. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that may occur in transit if the packaging is not secure, properly sealed, or adequately labelled. It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure that the item is well-packed and sent through our arranged courier.

During the cleaning process, we will handle your dress with the utmost care, following the manufacturer's instructions on the care label. However, due to the delicate and often unique nature of wedding dresses, cleaning is carried out at the owner’s risk. We cannot guarantee that some issues, such as fading, shrinking, or fabric degradation, will not occur. These risks are influenced by factors such as the age of the dress, storage conditions, and the fabric's construction. While we use gentle cleaning methods suited for delicate fabrics, beads, trims, and other embellishments may loosen or fall off during cleaning. Additionally, certain stains or damages that were not initially visible may become more apparent after cleaning. Although we strive to minimise these risks, not all potential issues can be identified before the cleaning process begins. Any damage will be subject to a maximum liability of £1,000, provided that such damage is found to be a result of fault in our cleaning processes.

Wedding Dress Cleaning Scotland offers both collection and delivery services across the UK Mainland. Once your dress has been cleaned, we will dispatch it using our standard next working day courier service. Please note that once your dress leaves our premises and is handed over to the courier, we cannot accept liability for any damage, loss, or delays that occur during shipping. If you do not collect your dress within three months of placing your order, we reserve the right to dispose of the item, though we will make every effort to remind you before taking such action.
